FIFA World Cup 2026 Is Coming to Miami: What Fans, Buyers, and South Florida Movers Should Know

Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens with FIFA World Cup 2026 Miami branding

The world is coming to Miami.

In June and July 2026, FIFA World Cup fans from around the globe will fill Miami Gardens for one of the biggest sports events on earth. The matches will be played at Hard Rock Stadium, which will be called Miami Stadium during the tournament.

For a few weeks, South Florida will feel even more alive than usual. You will see fans in Brazil yellow, Colombia yellow, Uruguay blue, Portugal red and green, Saudi green, Scotland plaid, and Cape Verde blue. It will be loud. It will be colorful. It will be a moment.

And for buyers, sellers, investors, and families thinking about moving to South Florida, this event is also a reminder of something bigger.

Miami is not just a vacation city. It is a global city. People come here for sports, culture, business, weather, family, and lifestyle. Some visit for a match and start thinking, “Could we actually live here?”

That is where we come in.

At Echelon Collectives Real Estate Firm, we help families, sellers, investors, and relocating buyers make smart South Florida moves with clear advice, real guidance, and a human touch.

When does the FIFA World Cup 2026 start?

The full FIFA World Cup 2026 tournament starts on Thursday, June 11, 2026, and runs through Sunday, July 19, 2026.

Miami’s first match is on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Miami Stadium in Miami Gardens.

The first Miami kickoff is Saudi Arabia vs. Uruguay at 6:00 PM.

Miami World Cup match schedule

Miami Stadium will host seven FIFA World Cup 2026 matches.

The first four are group stage matches. After that, Miami will host one Round of 32 match, one Quarter Final, and the Bronze Final, also known as the third-place match.

The Miami match schedule is:

June 15, 2026: Saudi Arabia vs. Uruguay at 6:00 PM.

June 21, 2026: Uruguay vs. Cape Verde at 6:00 PM.

June 24, 2026: Brazil vs. Scotland at 6:00 PM.

June 27, 2026: Portugal vs. Colombia at 7:30 PM.

July 3, 2026: Round of 32 at 6:00 PM.

July 11, 2026: Quarter Final at 5:00 PM.

July 18, 2026: Bronze Final at 5:00 PM.

That means Miami is not getting a small piece of the tournament. Miami is getting a real spotlight.

Where is Miami Stadium?

Miami Stadium is the World Cup name for Hard Rock Stadium.

The stadium address is:

347 Don Shula Drive, Miami Gardens, FL 33056

The stadium sits in Miami Gardens, near major South Florida roads, and it is close to parts of Miami-Dade and Broward County. Depending on traffic, it can be a good drive from areas like Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Hollywood, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, and North Miami.

Because this is the World Cup, do not treat traffic like a normal game day. Give yourself more time than you think you need.

How big is the stadium?

Miami Stadium seats about 65,000 fans.

That matters because the energy will be huge. But it also means traffic, parking, rideshare lines, food lines, and security lines will be busy. Plan ahead. Get there early. Keep your phone charged. Bring patience.

How much are World Cup tickets in Miami?

World Cup ticket prices change based on the match, seat location, demand, and resale market.

The safest place to start is FIFA’s official ticket site: Buy FIFA World Cup tickets through FIFA.

For premium seats and hospitality, FIFA’s official hospitality provider is On Location. You can explore hospitality options here: FIFA World Cup 2026 Hospitality.

Some resale sites may show tickets too, but be careful. Prices can move fast, and not every listing is worth trusting. Before you buy, check the seller, fees, refund rules, transfer rules, seat details, and whether the site is an official or trusted resale option.

The smart move is simple: start with FIFA first.

What about parking?

Parking is one of the biggest things fans need to plan before match day.

Official stadium parking may be expensive, and some passes may only be available to fans who already have a valid match ticket. Reports have shown stadium parking starting around the mid-$100s for some matches and going higher for others.

Fans should buy parking in advance and avoid waiting until the day of the match.

There may also be shuttle options from places like Brightline Aventura Station, Martin Luther King Jr. Metrorail Station, Golden Glades, and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. These options may help fans save money, but availability can change, so check before you go.

The best advice is this: choose your parking or shuttle plan before match day. Do not freestyle this one.

What will the weather be like?

South Florida in June is hot, humid, and can bring afternoon showers.

For the first Miami match week, expect warm weather, highs in the upper 80s, and a chance of showers or storms. Bring light clothes, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and a poncho. A small portable fan is not a bad idea either.

Do not let the weather fool you. Even if the sky looks clear in the morning, South Florida can change fast.

Early Weather Outlook for Miami Match Week

Who is playing in Miami?

Miami gets a strong group of fan bases.

You will see Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, Cape Verde, Brazil, Scotland, Portugal, and Colombia in Miami group stage matches. The knockout matches will be decided as the tournament moves forward.

The biggest Miami matchup on paper may be Portugal vs. Colombia on June 27. That game could bring Cristiano Ronaldo fans and Luis Díaz supporters into one stadium. That is a real South Florida moment.

Brazil vs. Scotland should also be one of the most colorful matches. Brazil fans always bring music, pride, and energy. Scotland fans are known for traveling strong and showing up with real passion.

Players and stars to watch

This is where the fan energy gets serious.

Portugal may bring Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the most famous athletes in the world. Colombia has Luis Díaz, a major star and one of the faces of Colombian soccer. Brazil has a deep pool of global names, including Neymar, Vinícius Jr., and other high-level talent. Uruguay has stars like Federico Valverde and Darwin Núñez. Scotland, Saudi Arabia, and Cape Verde will bring their own pride and storylines too.

Not every player’s role is the same. Some stars may start. Some may come off the bench. Some may be injured or rested. World Cup rosters can change fast, so fans should check final match-day lineups before going.

But one thing is clear: Miami will have star power.

Player fame, salaries, and jersey buzz

Soccer has global stars in a way few sports can match.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, Neymar, Lamine Yamal, Vinícius Jr., Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham, Luis Díaz, and Mohamed Salah are some of the names that drive huge attention, jersey sales, social media buzz, and brand deals around the world.

For Miami specifically, the names to watch are tied to the teams playing here: Ronaldo for Portugal, Luis Díaz for Colombia, Neymar and Vinícius Jr. for Brazil, and Valverde for Uruguay.

In South Florida, expect to see a lot of Portugal, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Inter Miami, and Messi jerseys around town during the tournament.

Where should fans eat near the stadium?

Inside Hard Rock Stadium, fans can usually find stadium food like burgers, Cuban sandwiches, pizza, BBQ, sushi, chicken, snacks, and local-style options.

Around the stadium, you will also find fast food, casual spots, Caribbean food, Latin food, and sit-down restaurants within a short drive. Nearby areas like Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Aventura, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, and North Miami also give fans more choices before and after the match.

If you are going with family, book or plan food early. If you are going with friends, pick one meetup spot before everyone loses service or gets split up in the crowd.

Why the World Cup matters for South Florida real estate

Big events do not create a market by themselves, but they do shine a bright light on a city.

The World Cup will remind millions of people that South Florida is connected to the world. People can fly in, watch a match, enjoy the beach, eat great food, visit family, and start asking what life here would look like full-time.

That matters for buyers.

South Florida gives buyers access to warm weather, strong culture, beaches, airports, schools, jobs, sports, food, nightlife, and family-friendly suburbs. You can live near the action without living in the middle of the noise.

That is why areas like Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Hollywood, Miami Gardens, Davie, Weston, Fort Lauderdale, and Aventura stay on the radar for many families.

Relocating to South Florida? Here is the real advantage

The real advantage is choice.

You can choose city life, suburban life, beach life, or a quieter family neighborhood. You can live close to Miami without living in Miami. You can work in one county and live in another. You can be near airports, stadiums, schools, shopping, hospitals, and major roads.

For buyers, the key is not just finding a home. The key is finding the right area for your actual life.

That means looking at commute, school needs, insurance, taxes, flood zones, monthly payment, home condition, roof age, HOA rules, and resale value.

This is where a local real estate team matters.

Selling near South Florida’s World Cup spotlight?

If you own a home in South Florida, this is also a smart time to understand your equity.

You do not have to sell just because the World Cup is coming. But you should know your number. A major global event can bring more attention to the area, and that attention can create more conversations around lifestyle, relocation, and investment.

If you are thinking about selling in Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Hollywood, Miami Gardens, Fort Lauderdale, or nearby areas, start with a simple home value check.

Planning a move after the World Cup?

Some people will come to Miami for a match and leave with a bigger idea.

Maybe they want a second home. Maybe they want to relocate. Maybe they want to buy near family. Maybe they want to invest. Maybe they want to move from renting to owning.

If that sounds like you, the best next step is a simple conversation.

You do not need to have everything figured out. You just need the right guide.
